Whisperwood: Music

Ever the Twain

-
Scene III: Ever the Twain

(Elric & Lokai):
Whenever the twain shall meet
Whenever the twain shall meet
Who and what and where and why
Whenever the twain shall meet

Wherever the twain shall meet
Wherever the twain shall meet
Here and there and ev-a-ry-where
Whenever the twain shall meet

However the twain shall meet
However the twain shall meet
Forever and ever and ever and ever
Whenever the twain shall meet

If ever the twain should meet
If ever the twain should meet
What ever will we do---
IF EVER THE TWAIN SHOULD MEET!

Music: Eric
Lyrics: Eric

Vocals: Dave, Eric, Sean, and Randy
Bass: Sean
Octave Mandolin: Sean

Tid Bits:
While driving a big white van around southern California delivering framing supplies, Eric became so bored that he unintentionally channeled Elmer Fudd and the Umpa Lumpas at the same time. For several hours he sings to himself with their voices, “what ever will we do...”

Treasure:
Did you catch the opening octave mandolin line? The melody seemed appropriate for a song about the fear of a close encounter with giants!

Story Synopsis:
The danger of the journey becomes apparent. What is going to happen when they meet giants???
